Mechanical behavior of photopolymerized materials

چکیده
The photopolymerization process used for the production of additively manufactured polymers employed in advanced applications, enables obtaining objects spanning a large dimensional scale thanks to molecular size achievable by solidification process. In fact, is based on physical-chemical network cross-linking mechanism taking place at nanoscale. Since starting raw material liquid resin that progressively becomes solid upon irradiation suitable light source, mechanical properties – and so corresponding response final printed structural heavily depend degree distribution polymerization induced itself. present study, from governing equations light-induced process, we determine chain density formed within domain. Then, photopolymerized elements obtained with different parameters investigated. Moreover, microstructure optimization polymeric relation achievement desired least energy spent polymer's formation, studied. Finally, some interesting considerations related modeling are outlined.
